The Patuakhali Science and Technology University was developed at the private initiative of the local people through the establishment of a higher secondary institute in 1972 as a private college. It was then turned to Patuakhali Agricultural College under the affiliation of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), Mymensingh in 1979 with the objective of producing agricultural graduates offering the B.Sc.Ag.(Hons.) degree. The admission-test for the first year honours courses in the 2013-2014 sessions of Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU) will be held on December 6.
Public relations department of the university confirmed the matter on Thursday in a press release.
An urgent meeting of admission-test committee with Vice-chancellor professor Dr Shamsuddin in the chair approved the decision.
The students from merit list will take admission on December 11 and 12. And the reporting date of the students from waiting list on December 15 and admission dates are December 17-18.
Registrar Nawab Ali and Deans of various departments were present in the meeting.
